Katrina Foy (Director of Administration) has been a proud Dandelion since 2007. She is currently a Graduate Assistant at the University of Connecticut, completing her M.F.A. in Arts Administration (Spring 2019). She also is an administrative associate for Mainspring Arts Cooperative (under the leadership of Trish Santini, Frank Butler & Peter Flynn), a non-profit national arts organization based in Rhinebeck, NY that utilizes a tour model to bring affordable and exceptional productions across the nation to regional theaters. Katrina has a B.F.A. Acting degree from Ithaca College and has performed regionally with Gulfshore Playhouse (Tartuffe, Unnecessary Farce; Naples, FL), Connecticut Free Shakespeare (Love's Labour's Lost, Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, Mornings of April & May, Taming of the Shrew), and the Kitchen Theatre (Iron; Ithaca, NY). She is a current company member and former co-founding Producing & Managing Director of GF&CO in Brooklyn, an ensemble theater company based on the performance technique, OTOA™, led by theater director, Gia Forakis. Katrina performed in the company's first MainStage adaptation of O.Rex as well as several of the signature Salon Series. Katrina was the Production Manager for National Theater for Arts & Education, where she also directed touring productions of El Sí de las Niñas and The Story of Anne Frank. She has created curriculum and directed for several theater education programs including the Professional Performing Arts Scholarship Program with Connecticut Free Shakespeare, and NYCinMA, a pre-college program for Massachusetts drama students. Katrina currently leads administration of Counterproof Press, a cross-disciplinary, printmaking initiative at the University of Connecticut. She is the 2018 recipient of the Marks Family Endowment Award in the School of Fine Arts at the University of Connecticut. Katrina is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association, a 500-hour yoga instructor, and an excited mom-to-be this August 2018.
